On June 6, 2025, NET Trans and the First Tennessee Human Resource Agency proudly hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at the FTHRA Satellite Office in Greeneville to celebrate the official launch of Connect, our same-day, affordable, and sustainable transportation service.
The event brought together local leaders, NET Trans staff, and community members to learn more about this innovative service and to celebrate an important milestone for transportation in Northeast Tennessee. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the new Connect vehicles, meet the team behind the service, and hear firsthand how Connect will help expand mobility options in Greene County.
This launch marked the first Connect hub in the Northeast Tennessee community, signaling an exciting step forward in our ongoing mission to provide accessible and reliable transportation to all.
Following the ceremony, Connect service officially became available in Greeneville and Tusculum, offering residents a convenient new option for getting to work, appointments, shopping, or other local destinations.
The event was a resounding success, showcasing how Connect is designed to improve lives and strengthen our community through affordable, flexible, and environmentally friendly transportation.
