On August 22, 2025, NET Trans proudly hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at the NET Trans Garage in Elizabethton to celebrate the expansion of Connect, our same-day, affordable, and sustainable transportation service.
The event brought together local leaders, NET Trans staff, and community members to mark this exciting step forward in improving transportation options for Northeast Tennessee. Attendees had the opportunity to see the Connect vehicles up close, learn about the service, and hear from local and state leaders about the importance of accessible mobility in our communities.

This ceremony marked the second Connect hub in Northeast Tennessee. After a successful launch in Greeneville and Tusculum earlier this summer, Connect service is now officially available in Elizabethton, further expanding our reach and impact.
The ribbon cutting was a successful and well-attended event, showcasing the collaboration between local leaders, state partners, and the NET Trans team to make transportation more accessible across our region.
